In cooperation with the retail chain TESCO STORES SR, an information awareness campaign aimed at supporting measures in the area of air quality and raising public awareness of the importance of air protection in Slovakia took place during the month of June. The chain's customers had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the issue of air protection in the form of radio spots and "populair" promotional stands on the topic of sustainable mobility. It was possible to meet our air quality managers in person in selected stores in Bratislava, Trnava, Nitra, Rožňava, Trebišov, Žilina, Ružomberok, Snina and Kežmarok.

On June 22, 2023, the opening of a poster exhibition took place in the atrium of the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic (MoE SR) on the informative measurement of NO2 in schools, which was opened by the Minister of the MoE SR, Milan Chrenko, and which was also attended by the Minister of Culture, Silvia Hroncová, ambassadors, winning schools and employees of the MoE SR.

At this event, we welcomed the foreign projects HungAIRy from Hungary and Malopolska - In a healthy atmosphere from Poland, which, like us, deal with the issue of air quality.

Memorandum signed in Trenčín

As part of the implementation of the LIFE IP Project – Improving Air Quality, on 11. 11. 2022 the District Office in the Trenčín region joined the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation on the Preparation of the Air Quality Improvement Program. The Memorandum was signed for the duration of the project, i.e. until 31. 12. 2027.
