In 2025, a new partner, the Nitra Self-Governing Region, joined the project, while the Bratislava Self-Governing Region withdrew. Interdepartmental cooperation was initiated, including meetings of the Heating and Energy working group and the preparation of materials for other working groups. Air Quality Management Plans (AQMPs) were issued for the zones of the Nitra Region, Banská Bystrica Region, Košice Region, and the Košice agglomeration. The educational campaign “Something Is in the Air” was launched.

Emissions Inventory for the Selected Regions
The emission inventory for 2025 contains data from 2023. The data is divided by individual districts and pollutants - specifically nitrogen and sulfur oxides, ammonia, PM2.5 and total solid pollutants, as well as CO. In the sheets dedicated to individual pollutants, emissions are also divided by the sources from which they were emitted, namely energy and industry, waste, households, agriculture and transport.

Expert Workshop: Sustainable Mobility
The aim of the event in Banská Bystrica was to familiarize participants, representatives of local governments, and members of the professional community with the topic of sustainable mobility, including the planning and implementation of transport systems with consideration for residents, cities, and regions.
As part of the event, the current edition of the European Mobility Week campaign was evaluated and the winners of the national competition for the European Mobility Week Award 2025 were announced.

Seminar on Current Issues in Air Quality Protection
The aim of the two-day seminar held in Demänovská Dolina was to provide a comprehensive overview of recent legislative changes in the field of air quality protection, ensure professional training for public administration staff to enable the effective exercise of their competences, promote the exchange of experience and a consistent interpretation of legal regulations among public authorities, and discuss the links between the new legislation and current challenges such as improving air quality, addressing pollution from local heating sources, and implementing the objectives of EU climate policy.

Web application
The web application www.dnesdycham.sk provides users with information about the current air quality using a map. Data from the National Air Quality Monitoring Network, operated by the SHMI, are converted in the application into an air quality index. The purpose of the index is to provide a clear and comprehensive overview of the state of air quality through a color-coded and descriptive scale.
