Memorandum signed in Trenčín

As part of the implementation of the LIFE IP Project – Improving Air Quality, on 11. 11. 2022 the District Office in the Trenčín region joined the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation on the Preparation of the Air Quality Improvement Program. The Memorandum was signed for the duration of the project, i.e. until 31. 12. 2027.
The main objective of the Memorandum is the cooperation of the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic with the relevant district offices in the preparation and implementation of measures of the Air Quality Improvement Program (in this case, with the seat in Trenčín) with the aim of improving air quality at the local and regional level and thus reducing the exposure of the population to the harmful effects of air pollutants.
