The question that resonated throughout the event was: "What is air for you that you cannot live without?"

The first block of presentations was opened by the Populair team, who introduced the topic of air quality in Slovakia and shared examples of successful educational activities. The results of the school campaign “To School on Your Own” were subsequently presented by students of Ladislav Novomeský Elementary School in Lučenec.

Contributions also addressed air from a pedagogical and psychological perspective, because the atmosphere in the classroom is important for the acquisition of new knowledge. Those present tried out activities to strengthen cooperation and create a good atmosphere on themselves, based on the educational program about ants for elementary schools from the Mana EVVO workshop.

From the university premises, the participants briefly imagined themselves in high school classrooms to find out how they educate about air at the grammar school and business academy in Martin. Through one of the presentations, they looked into the minds of Generation Z and discussed what is important to them, not only in terms of transport sustainability.

The next block of presentations was enriched by the Primary School with Kindergarten in Senohrad with its environmental activities. The space was also dedicated to the need to raise awareness in the field of CITES. The ŽIVICA Center presented its Elektroodpad and Kolobežka projects in the context of air pollution. The participants learned which electrical appliances teachers and which students are willing to give up. Thanks to the Civic Cycling Initiative of Banská Bystrica, they found out what tactical urbanism is and how it can help ensure safe zones near schools without expensive investments.

Finally, an invitation came to join the campaign of the Slovak Environmental Agency Something is Hanging in the Air, which brings practical challenges for individuals, work and school groups, and educational materials for all levels of schools. The campaign was created in collaboration with the Populair team.

In addition to the theory, the participants also had a practical part of the program. In the outdoor areas of the SAŽP, thanks to a specially modified trailer with demonstrations of heating equipment, they learned the principles of proper heating and were able to see for themselves that bubbles can be blown through properly dried wood :) Some also discovered that they had been living in error for years - the correct way to heat is from above, not from below.

At the end of the meeting, the organizers and participants stated two things:
